In February 2011, SOCM's main office made the move from Lake City, TN to Knoxville! This transition has been an exciting one, representing SOCM's statewide growth and ever developing social, economic and environmental issues work.
To help connect our members and supporters to this new office space, SOCM is hosting an Open House, June 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. Please take some time to join us for a Friday night of celebrating with appetizers and beverages. This is a wonderful time to meet-and-greet with SOCM's new staff members, discuss the newest Tennessee campaigns and take a look at our new office.
The SOCM gang will be ready for some partying, and show-and-tell is welcome. We want to commemorate our past, so bring those lyrics to an old SOCM song you have tucked away or quilt you've got hanging, and pack them up for this fun event.
