The UMKC School of Medicine has received two five-year grants totaling more than $3.8 million from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to expand the school's internal medicine and family care residency programs. Read more
UMKC School of Medicine awarded $1.7 million Dept. of Defense contract to study shock/trauma treatment
The UMKC School of Medicine will conduct research to develop a treatment strategy for hemorrhagic shock that can be administered in conjunction with initial rescusitation efforts by combat medics on the battlefield or in medical facilities.
