The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) recently released the results of the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX). UMKC researchers working to understand Staph infection "immune evasion" abilities
Scientists at the UMKC School of Biological Sciences are working to understand why Staphylococcal infections are able to evade many of the human body's immune responses. Their most recent findings were published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Read more
UMKC School of Medicine faculty member working on $95 million federal grant to improve childrens' pharmaceuticals
Dr. Gregory Kearns, Marion Merrell Dow/Missouri Chair in pediatric medical research at UMKC, and chairman of the department of medical research at Children's Mercy Hospital, will spend the next seven years working with physicians throughout the country to improve and expand pharmaceutical offerings for children.
