Gilliland Racing for World Hunger Relief at Talladega

No. 34 Team Asks Fans to Make a Difference with $1 Donation

Statesville, N.C. (October 20, 2011) - David Gilliland will be driving for more than just points and pride this weekend at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. He'll be driving for World Hunger Relief, the annual hunger relief effort conducted by Yum! Brands. The logo and website of the campaign will adorn the hood and rear quarter panels of the No. 34 Ford Fusion for the Good Sam Club 500 race weekend.

Gilliland and Front Row Motorsports are asking fans to donate a dollar to the cause - an amount that can provide four meals to hungry children at school. Fans can visit www.FromHungertoHope.com and click on the "Click to Donate" button under the red "$1" symbol or visit any participating Yum! Brand restaurant to donate in person.

Yum! Brands is the parent company of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants, whose logos will also be on the No. 34 Ford at Talladega. Front Row Motorsports team owner Bob Jenkins is a Yum! franchisee, operating 132 restaurants around the eastern part of the United States.

"We're fortunate to be able to go racing every week and do what we love," Jenkins said. "And every time we go on track, we have the opportunity to send a message to the people who see our cars. There are a lot of people all over the world, kids especially, who can't just go to the refrigerator or to a restaurant to get something to eat like we can. We're happy to help raise some awareness for this campaign to help them."

Yum! Brands' annual World Hunger Relief campaign is the world's largest private sector hunger relief effort, spanning 110 countries, 38,000 KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants and over 1 million employees, to raise awareness, volunteerism and funds for the United Nations' World Food Programme (WFP) and other hunger relief agencies.
