Starting Position: 29

Finishing Position: 22

David Gilliland and the No. 34 Taco Bell Ford team finished 22nd during Sunday's FedEx 400 benefitting Autims Speaks at the one-mile Dover International Speedway.

After rain cancelled qualifying Saturday morning, NASCAR officials used Friday's fastest practice speeds to line up the field.  Gilliland started from the 29th position.

He was not happy at the beginning of the race with his car, but crew chief Peter Sospenzo was able to make two quick changes, once at Lap 21 when Joey Logano spun and another at Lap 40 under a competition caution.  Once Sospenzo was able to make the adjustments, Gilliland was comfortalbe and started to race into the top-25.  Staying there for the majority of the afternoon, the team was in position late to get a top-20 finish.  Gillliland raced as high as 21st and finished 22nd.  It was the best finish for Front Row Motorsports at Dover.

Comments from Taco Bell Ford team driver David Gilliland after Dover:

"The guys did a a great job in the pits today. Peter made great calls to make the car a ton better early.  Then the pit crew just had really fast stops to give us good track position during the longer runs. The track changed a lot, but I think we did a good job of keeping up with it.  It was hard to pass cars, but we raced with a lot of good guys today and had a good finish.  This is something to build on."

Starting Position: 41

Finishing Position: 31

Travis Kvapil brought the No. 38 A&W All American Food Ford team to the one-mile Dover International Speedway for Sunday's 400-lap event looking to continue to make up ground in owner's points.  It took a lot of adjustments, but at the end Kvapil was able to gain seven valuable owner's points after Sunday's race.

Starting 41st, Kvapil moved into the top-35 by Lap 100, but was fighting an ill-handling car.  Kvapil was able to race in 33rd or 32nd throughout the afternoon, and the team continued to make changes to his Ford.  Over the course of the race, Kvapil communicated that his car was getting better, but was still not that way he needed.  The team did the best with the car and acutally moved into 30th late in the race.  Kvapil was hoping to crack the top-30, but finished 31st after a long afternoon.

Comments from A&W All American Ford team driver Travis Kvapil after Dover:

"We just struggled with this car since unloading on Friday. I'm not sure why, but we have a lot of notes to digest this week.  The best part was that Jay never gave up on it and we were able to get something out of it.  We made up some ground on the owner's points too.  We have a week to learn something for the 600 during the All-Star week and then concentrate on having a good night during the 600."
