Dear ,
I'd like to start off this newsletter a bit personal. As many of you know, I have been quite ill in the past few months. I was of course worried about what all this held for me, but more so, found myself mostly concerned with my family and how my three boys who all are too young to understand why I wasn't home would be affected. It turned out to be a wonderful surprise when I saw everyone pull together and take care of me, even the little guys who kept the pictures and cute phone calls coming. There is nothing greater than family.
I was also of course worried about the business and all of you. Appointments had to be canceled, phone calls weren't returned, it was a mess. But, another surprise was in store for me as well - I was told about how so many of you, my dear customers, who through phone calls, tickets, or emails were told of my situation would put aside the urgency of the moment and instead wish me well and recovery. This is a tough world, and I wouldn't have been surprised at all if my time in the hospital and subsequent home recovery (which also had its ups and downs and missed appointments) would be too much to handle. But instead of losing customers, I gained friends.
I also gained some insight and have reorganized the entire company so no one person can be a bottleneck to service again. We have added Traci Matko, Office Manager to the team. She will be responsible for managing the ticket queues, tech scheduling, and billing. James Vande Woude has very recently joined us and will be working with us in sales and project management. And your friend and ours, Tony Dimidis (now you know his last name!) has been promoted to Installation Manager and will be a valuable resource to the technicians.
Lastly, as you may know from the last announcement, we have rolled out our Customer Center which offers the ability to create your own service tickets, check scheduling, invoice history, status of items shipped, etc. It's there for you 24/7. If you are having any troubles with it or would like a walkthrough - send an email to helpdesk@wanderlogic.com and we'll take care of you.
