Inaugural Conference Update Thank You!

Greetings!
What a joy it was to have so many of
you here at Christ Church New Haven. The energy and enthusiasm you
have brought to this are a real joy and source of hope for us. The
opportunity to share in liturgy, conversation, prayer, and thoughtful
discussion all pointed toward the real potential the Society has to
enrich our lives and ministry as priests, friends, and servants. Our
time together already has us looking forward to next year with great
anticipation!
For those who could not make it this year, know that you were and are in our prayers! We rejoice in your life in the Society. Many of our members went home with renewed energy for the task of Catholic Evangelism to begin building local chapters and bringing news of the Society to those seeking just such a place.
As chapters begin forming we are
excited and eager to hear stories of your own experiences and
thoughts as life together begins to unfold. If we can maintain the
patterns of honest reflection, thoughtful discussion, centered
spirituality, and hopeful energy we can truly become a gift to the
life of our parishes, the wider church, and one another.
We welcome the continued contributions
and reflections on the conference and the wider life of the Society
in the days, months, and year ahead. Please do not hesitate to reach
out to offer your thoughts, comments, questions, and critique as we
move forward. This is truly your Society and your voice and prayers
are vital to maintaining the ethos of contemplation and collaboration
that we all so desire.
Thanks again for a wonderful first
provincial event and for making this a time of hope, possibility, and
faithful witness.
Yours in Christ,
theSCP
