If you have a digital camera with manual settings and menus that make you want to scream, then this class is for you.

Designed to help you take control of your camera rather than hoping for the best (and being disappointed). This class will help you to get familiar with your particular camera, and teach you basic digital photography concepts, such as utilizing ISO, aperture, and shutter speed settings, to get that perfect exposure under various lighting conditions.  Other topics such as reading a histogram, controlling the depth of field, exposure compensation, white balance, and more, will all be covered in this course. In general, it will help you take better digital pictures for the enjoyment of yourself and others. Learn to go beyond the family snapshots and start to capture the photographs that you and your camera are capable of.

This is a hands-on, photo-taking, relaxed photography class. Please bring your camera, owner's manual, and your questions to each class session.  We meet 5 times  per session for a total of 12 1/2 hours of instructional time!  Choose which session best meets your needs.
