Overview of Digital Photography
If you like to learn it all at once then this class is for you! If you have a digital camera with manual settings or buttons and menus that make you want to scream, then this class is for you.
We have designed this class to help you take control of your camera rather than hoping for the best (and being disappointed). This class will teach you basic digital photography concepts, such as utilizing ISO, aperture, and shutter speed settings, to get that perfect exposure under various lighting conditions, as well as introducing you to the world of pixels and digital resolution. Other topics such as reading a histogram, controlling the depth of field, exposure compensation, white balance, and more, will all be covered in this course. In general, this class will help you take better digital pictures for the enjoyment of yourself and others.
This is a lecture only class and will prepare you for our Basic Digital Photography class. Please bring a notebook and pen to take additional notes.
