Some Tips for Creating Your Newsletters... Use your "third eye" to create captivating content. Creating content is always a challenge. Finding inspiration can be as easy as using your "third" or "inner" eye to look inward and use your own life to educate your clients.
Make it personal - Your clients want to read about how you are succeeding. Share your success secrets. Think about including lists of things you've learned "the hard way." Teaching from your own mistakes shows that you're a "real person" whose expertise isn't just from books but also from interesting life experiences. Share your humanity - While we're still in the vein of "being real," think about using a newsletter to highlight a client success-story or showcase a colleague. Anytime you include a story about a person, make sure to include their picture. Your clients will love seeing what it's like behind the scenes of your business.
Promote an event - Not every event has to be your own. Are you attending a networking event or tradeshow? Mention it in your newsletter. It shows that you are plugged into your industry. Also, think about referring your clients to other networking events that you aren't holding - they won't leave you; they'll probably thank you for bringing it to their attention.
