Back to School Means New Computers and Software for the First-Year Students On January 9, students returned to the Creative Center for the Spring semester. First-year students were especially excited, as this day marked the receipt of their 17" Mac Book Pro laptop computers, Microsoft Office, and Adobe CS 5.5 software. Paper flew and voices were high as boxes were opened and software was loaded. As always, acquiring the computer is the high point of many students' year, and setting things up to suit them will take days, if not weeks, to polish to perfection. While the first week can be chaotic, it's also very rewarding for both students and faculty.

Featured Project: Blog Design

Third-year students are tasked with creating a major design campaign for a non-profit organization. Part of the campaign requires the creation of a blog. Students had the choice of redesigning the organization's logo and identity, but all of the blog designs were required to be original.
