A Trip to the Zoo?!Drawing at the Zoo

Remember, this is an art college - we have very good reasons for our students to visit the zoo! In this case, first-year students in Drawing 101 complete quick sketches throughout the day based on the live animals. Then, they are charged with creating a unique fantasy animal based on the sketches they completed. Fun and educational!

You're Invited to our

Fall Open House on October 15!

Saturday, October 15 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Join us for an opportunity to learn about the field of graphic design and advertising, as well as admissions procedures and financial aid. See you on October 15!

Featured Project: Black and White Newspaper Ads

b/w news ads

Creating an advertisement in black and white can be challenging because the impact of color is lost. Designers must compensate by making good use of the ad space and utilizing clever headlines to capture the viewer's attention. Students in the second year concentrate on learning the technicalities of black and white advertising, applying this knowledge multiple times in their educational career.
