· Explore project options in multiple disciplines: illustration, typography, print design, web design, and multimedia.
· Listen to creative professionals explain their creative process.
· Collect ideas and inspirations to take back into the classroom with you.
· Learn how to help your students reach their goals both in and out of the classroom.

Graduation 2011

The class of 2011 will graduate on June 4, 2011, at LIfegate Church on 156 and Dodge Streets.

Students must arrive by 9:30 for a walk-through and distribution of caps and gowns.

Doors open at 10:00 and the ceremony will begin at 10:30.

We will take pictures after the event; parents are welcome to take pictures at that time as well.

Creative Students Bring Home 30 Student ADDY Awards!

Yes, you read that right. More than half of the student ADDYs awarded at the banquet on February 5 were handed to students from the Creative Center. On top of that, this year's class Ryan Murphybroke the record for the most ADDYs won by Creative Center students in one year. The previous record was set in 2001, when students won 29 ADDYs. Our awesome students this year brought home 30 awards. Our Students ROCK!

2011 Snow

From the Director

Snow and more snow. Bring on Spring! Luckily, our spirits were cheered by the ADDY awards banquet which heralded a record-breaking 30 ADDYs won by our students. Special Congratulations to Ryan Murphy who snagged a Judge's Special Citation for the concept behind his ad for Kristin's Gourmet Cookies. Way to go, Ryan!

Don't forget about the Open House on Saturday, March 19 from 11am-3pm. Art Teachers and Guidance Counselors, the open house is a great opportunity for you to come see what we are all about!

For those of you in your senior year of high school, let us know if you are interested in pursuing a career in graphic design and advertising. Fall classes start on August 8, 2011.
