Project of the Month

Students in the BFA program are tasked with creating and producing a promotional campaign for a local Omaha company. The campaign must include an advertising plan and two separate presentations, as well as an in-house poster, a direct mail piece, a specialty teaser item, a local newspaper or magazine advertisement, and a website home page. Students must visit the business they are using for this assignment and research the physical store, as well as any existing advertising. This assignment is also subject to a professional review outside of the classroom for additional critiquing and assistance.
Project shown was designed and produced by Kimmy Laposky (Washington High School, Cherokee, IA).
