Our very own teacher, Kathy Lindquist, received the first The Amanda Joy McDaniel Champion Award. Mrs. Lindquist received this award for her persevering faith and exemplary service in education, leading to the success of countless students and inspiring the lives of everyone around her. We are so very proud of her and blessed to have her in our school.
Bryan Arri and Isaac Cundiff were selected to attend Missouri Boys State
Danny Brugmann was selected by CFS faculty and seniors as the recipient of the "First Knight Award"
Matthew Spencer was selected to attend the Missouri Scholars Academy
Clara Heider was the valedictorian of the Class of 2011
Emmanuel Pottipadu was the salutatorian of the Class of 2011
Daniel DeSantis was selected as a National Merit Scholar Finalist.
Clara Heider has been selected as a member of the Missouri Scholars 100 Program. This program is sponsored by the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals and recognizes 100 of Missouri's top scholars in the graduating class of 2011. The program's selection criteria are based on GPA and ACT scores and participation in school sponsored extracurricular activities.
This year four of our fourteen graduating seniors accepted athletic scholarship offers. These four students and the colleges they are attending are:
Alex Greenwood - Stephens College, Columbia, MO for basketball
Amanda Caldwell - Wright State University, Dayton, OH for soccer
Luke Crepeau - Central Methodist University, Fayette, MO for soccer
Raymond McLagan - San Diego Christian College, San Diego, CA for baseball
We are proud of our graduating students and wish them continued success as they serve as ambassadors for Christ on the field or court, as well as in the classroom.
