Scott Williams

 Principal Scott Williams

I enjoy telling people about the academic excellence we have at CFS.  I tell them that CFS graduates have a five-year average ACT score of 25.8, that our graduates over the last ten years include several National Merit Scholars, and that our graduates receive significant monetary scholarships from the colleges and universities they attend.  However, as I speak of these academic achievements, I am also mindful of two other important values we hold at CFS.  One is based on the words of Christ, "What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?"  In other words, what does it profit our students if they are admitted to the finest colleges and universities in the world and go on to achieve career and professional success, but fail to know God's saving grace or live lives which serve and honor the Lord?  Success outside of a life built on the foundation of faith in Jesus Christ certainly contradicts the purpose of Christian education.

 First Grade Peter Rabbit Play

Peter RabbitFor 18 years Mrs. Mueller and her first grade class have been blessing CFS with their production of Peter Rabbit.  This year was no exception!  Parents, grandparents, students, faculty, and alumni were in attendance on Friday, March 25th and enjoyed the performance put on by the small, but mighty cast of first graders.

Etiquette Saint Louis - Melenie Broyles

As a part of the school's character training objective, CFS students will participate in a series of  weekly chapel programs featuring Melenie Broyles of Etiquette Saint Louis.  Melenie is a professional trainer and consultant who has presented etiquette programs to organizations, corporations, and schools throughout the country.  Melenie recognizes that Biblical principles support the importance of etiquette and will use the scriptures, as well as humor, to engage and teach our students.  Quoting from Melenie, "Etiquette is not about impressing people, it is about using kindness, courtesy, and respect in every part of our daily lives."  This program is made possible through the sponsorship of Dick and Marilyn Felter, grandparents of Ryan and Connor Felter.
