"The generosity of those in attendance was overwhelming. Just as crucial was the behind-the-scenes efforts of auction donors, sponsors and volunteers."

 By any measure of success,

The Agnon School's 22nd Annual Spring Benefit Auction was exceptional, thanks to strong raffle ticket sales and lively bidding from the sold-out crowd.

"Funds raised at this Benefit Auction allow Agnon to ensure the quality education that our children receive everyday," observed Meg Ratner, who co-chaired the event with fellow Agnon parents Elisabeth Sapell

and Hannah Grunwald.  Sapell offered particular thanks to Agnon's community supporters whose participation was crucial to the night's success.

Master of Ceremonies Scott Simon and a live auctioneer entertained bids for everything from Glee concert tickets to a Hawaii vacation package.  Happy raffle ticket winners were Steven Hoffman (the Big Ticket Raffle) and Agnon parent Peggy Sugerman (the Legacy Village Shopping Spree).  But, the real winners were Agnon's more than 335 students.

"The generosity of those in attendance was overwhelming," said Laura Leventhal, Director of Development.  Just as crucial was the behind-the-scenes efforts of auction donors, sponsors and volunteers who gave generously of goods, services, funding and time.

"Take a minute to look over the Auction Book, and you'll get a sense of how many wonderful donors and sponsors supported the Agnon Auction," Leventhal added.  The Auction Book, with a listing of donors and sponsors, is available on-line here.
