The Agnon Agenda Spring 2009 #1
electronic edition
 Greetings!

Welcome to the new e-mail version of The Agnon Agenda, part of our continued effort to "go green."  Instead of periodically mailing this newsletter, we will be sending it to you as an e-mail that you can forward to grandparents, other family members and friends.  This edition, as well as the next one, will focus on the school year in review.

In addition, parents will still receive an e-mail each Wednesday from Admissions Director Laura Simon highlighting upcoming school events and activities.

Parents of Early Childhood - 5th grade students will also get class newsletters regularly by e-mail. Use our website to find other school information, including the calendar and monthly lunch menus

Hebrew Shelter Home Mitzvah Project

Kudos go to Agnon's 1st and 3rd grade students who brought in gently used toys, books and games to donate to Cleveland's Hebrew Shelter Home.

They began the project after studying the Parshat Truma and discussing the mitzvah of donations and contributions (as much as your heart desires) to build the Mishkan (portable tabernacle).

Representatives from the Hebrew Shelter Home then visited both grades to thank the students and speak about their facility.
