PDT Annual Spring Showcase

Sunday, June 12 at 3:00 PM West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South The PDT Showcase enables its students to show their parents, friends and the community all that they have learned throughout the year. Those of you who have seen the much anticipated annual performance know that you won't spend interminably long hours watching spangled costumes and light shows common at many dance recitals. The PDT showcase is all about technique and artistry appropriate to the age and level of the students. You won't want to miss this very entertaining afternoon.
Tickets are only $10.00 and may be purchased at the door or reserved by calling PDT Studio at 609-514-1600. |

Student News
 Max Azaro, age 12, of Princeton Junction was the Grand Prize Winner of the ABT Pointe and Shoot Photo Essay Contest. He won a two night stay in the Mandarin Oriental New York, tickets to see ABT's Cinderella, and a backstage tour.
Max's mom, Kathy, took the inspirational photos at the beautiful Grounds for Sculpture located in Hamilton, NJ. Max's winning essay is hanging in the studio.

PDT Visits Complexions Contemporary Ballet
 Thank you Christina Johnson! The former Dance Theater of Harlem Principal dancer, current ballet mistress for Armitage Gone, and frequent guest instructor at PDT, offered PDT students the rare opportunity to watch her teach company class for Complexions Contemporary Ballet prior to their final performance at the Joyce in NYC. The dancers met co-artistic director and former PDT guest teacher Desmond Richardson along with many of the Complexion dancers.  Alumni News
Drew Nelson will be heading to the Royal Ballet School in September. Drew received a full scholarship plus living expenses to attend the highly esteemed school.
Kayla Green has been offered an apprenticeship contract with Ballet Magnificat!. Kayla has been a trainee with the company for the past two seasons.
Debra Bona, Ashley Concannan, and Phoebe Rose Sandford will be teaching at PDT during the summer. Debra, who is in her third year at SUNY Purchase Dance Conservatory will be teaching some of the summer camp classes. Ashley, who just finished her second season as a company member of Columbia City Ballet in South Carolina will be teaching open classes. Phoebe recently graduated from Tisch at NYU and started a modern company called Red Currant Collective. She will be the teaching the Choreography Workshop classes during PDT's Summer Intensive, her second year in that role. These three lovely dancers and instructors join alum and PDT full time instructor, Maura Ryan, in sharing their gifts and experience with current PDT students. |
