Greetings!
Summer is here! For serious dancers, summer means intensives - special programs of study designed to hone skills and continue the learning and growth process from the previous year.
As in the past, many of our advanced students this year have been accepted into high level summer programs such as Houston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Orlando Ballet, and Kaatsbaan. We are proud of their effort and know that when they return, they will bring a new breadth of knowledge with them.
PDT proudly hosts its own intensive which continues high level training for our students throughout the summer and teaches our detailed dance approach to many new students. Please join us as we celebrate their great accomplishments at the PDT Summer Intensive Performance on July 31st, 1:00 PM at the Hun School Auditiorium.
This month also brings the first Summer Night Swing at Forrestal Village. Learn how to dance with Henri Velandia and then dance the night away. Donations will be gladly accepted and proceeds will go to DanceVision.
Wishing you a safe and dance-filled summer!
Risa Kaplowitz and Susan Jaffe Co-Directors
