This
delicious drink fills you up, provides calcium, vitamin C, potassium,
omega 3 and 6, and three-to-four servings of fruit.
Ingredients:
1 cup calcium enriched orange juice
1 cup low-fat vanilla (or plain) yogurt
1 cup frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, or some of both)
1 cut up banana
Optional flax seed, about 1 tablespoon
Blend in a blender for desired consistency and drink up!

Greetings!
It's SHOWTIME! The annual and much anticipated PDT Spring Performance is fast approaching. This is when all of our dancers get to show all they have learned all year. The show is always entertaining with everything from ballet to hip hop, from tap to salsa.
As always, the performance would not be possible without our wonderful parents' involvement. Thank you to all who have volunteered to help make this a showstopping event.
The Princeton Dance and Theater Studio's Spring Performance will be held May 31 at 2 PM, at Montgomery High School Auditorium. Tickets are available in the office for $10.00 per person and $5.00 per performer to see half of the performance.
While purchasing tickets, please also consider honoring one who will not be performing with us this year. Elica Suzuki, a Nutcracker Angel in Ballet 2, died in late April. In memory of her beauty, grace, and passion for dance, a fund has been set up to provide support for dance classes and dance necessities to underprivileged youth. Contributions to the fund may be made out to the Elica Suzuki Scholarship Fund and sent to:

PDT's own Risa Kaplowitz was a celebrity reader in Harmony's parent
library recently, where the children were enthralled as beautiful
Francesca Forcella demonstrated from the story that Risa read to them.
The Harmony School at Princeton Forrestal Village features year 'round
programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners and
summer campers through age 9. |

and Sun., Aug. 30 from 11 am till 1 pm for those who haven't registered
yet.

JW actors studio...
The Voice of Disney First: We recently had Mr. Jim DeMonic, Director of the Voice and
Speech Dept. and Academic Coordinator at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts
in New York City (he is also the VOICE of Walt Disney World) as a guest
lecturer in our Saturday Advanced Acting Workshop. Jim worked with the class on
the importance of good speech for the theater, ran vocal exercises, and went
through a series of accents for actors and how actors can learn to do these
accents themselves.
He will be returning on May 30th by popular
demand! Jim has agreed to work with us on this critical part of any actors
training quite often in the coming years!
Also: JW actors studio's
Intermediate and Advanced Acting classes for teens will be performing an
afternoon of their scenes and improvisation on Saturday, June 6th at the
Solley Theater located in the Arts Council of Princeton's new facility in
downtown Princeton, NJ.
The Friday Intermediate Class will begin their
presentation at 1:30PM
Saturday Advanced Acting Class will begin at
3:00PM.
Tickets are available for $4.00 in advance for each performance and
$5.00 at the door. Anyone wishing to attend both can do so for $6.00
All are welcome!

Flamenco! Lisa Botalico
As principal dancer and associate artistic director, Lisa will be
performing with the Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre Passage Theatre (Trenton) in
June and the premiere of The Journey:
from India to Spain in the Fall at the
Richard Marrasco Theatre.
With Alborada Lisa performs throughout New Jersey on the roster of Young
Audiences of New Jersey, performing A Taste of Spain
which includes classical Spanish, regional and flamenco dances.
Lisa performs regularly in the tablao at the restaurant, Spain
Inn II.
