Greetings!
One of the things that makes PDT community thrive is the dedicated involvement of our parents. In fact, several times a year, we absolutely depend on parental volunteers to make events possible Once again, this is the truth with our annual, end of year performance, showcasing the amazing talents of our students and teachers. If you've already offered to volunteer, thank you, and a committee head parent volunteer will be in touch with you soon. Remember, you are always welcome to engage your services in this way. We love the camaraderie!
We also thank those of you whose dedication shows up in other forms as well. There would never be any reason to perform, if there weren't an audience! Tickets for the May 31st, 2 PM Spring Performance, at Montgomery High-school Auditorium, go on sale April 20th. Tickets are available in the office for $10.00 per person and $5.00 per performer to see half of the performance.
See you at the Show!Warmly, Risa Kaplowitz & Susan Jaffe Co-Directors |

Every year we strive to continue excellence in our training through the summer break. While rest is indeed necessary for a healthy body, extended breaks are not good for us either. Things we've learned are forgotten, and a dancer's spirit diminishes with disuse. PDT offers these amazing programs: Summer 2009 Masters Series Featuring Michael Shannon For Levels 7, 8, Conservatory Program & Advanced dancers 13+

The Master Series, taught by former
Principal Dancer MIchael Shannon of the Vienna State Opera Ballet and
now resident choreographer of Configurations Dance Theater, will
consist of an hour and a half of ballet class followed by an hour and a
half of choreography. The Master Series is a great way for dancers to
increase their abilities to translate quickly what a choreographer is
asking of them. Michael's movement, developed from a deep experience of
international dance, is contemporary based movement with a balletic
influence. This series is a MUST for aspiring dancers who want to hone
their skills for a professional company.

Choreography Class taught by Ilana Suprin, former Principal of Bat Dor
Dance Company in Israel, is a class that sparks creativity, builds
choreographic and compositional skills, deepens musicality, spacial
awareness and the ability to embody a character and states of
being. The Modern Class, taught by our exemplary teacher, LInda
