SSRA Festival of Trees
Saturday, Nov. 28th : 7:30pm - 11pm
Festival of Trees Tulsa based Sooner State Rodeo Association (SSRA) will host their Annual Holiday Festival of Trees, Saturday October 28th from 7:30-11PM at the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center, 621 E. 4th Street in Downtown Tulsa.  The SSRA fundraising event will benefit SSRA and their 2009 charitable partners. The event will feature Cocktails and Hors D'oeuvres plus a Live Auction of 7 Fully Decorated Christmas Trees beginning at 8:30PM. The trees have been decorated by local interior designers, organizations, and individuals from the Tulsa GLBT Community.

This specially selected blend of both timeless and soon-to-be classics is sure to leave you feeling warm and festive... some might even say enchanted! That's A Wrap

 PFLAG (Parents and Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) is looking for volunteers for its annual book wrapping project at Barnes and Noble in Southroads Shopping Center November 27th through December 24th. Sign up by sending your name and contact phone number to: pflagtulsa@yahoo.com. You will be sent a schedule from which you can choose the time(s) you want to work.

This is a great way to have some fun, see old friends, make new ones and even get in a little shopping. You can get a discount on items purchased at the store immediately before and/or after your volunteer shift. Most shifts last two (2) hours.
 
Sisters in Song

Sisters in Song presents a Holiday Concert that is sure to put you in the Christmas spirit. Join Sisters in Song Dec.12th, 7pm at Fellowship Congregational Church UCC. Admission is $10
 
Reading Rainbow
The Nancy and Joe McDonald Rainbow Library is about to contain some brand new titles!  They include some children's books, young adult books, and multicultural books.  Also, a growing focus is the transgender and bisexuality sections.  If you would like to be included in this exciting time of growth for the Library, you can include the Library in your regular Amazon shopping.  I've made it easy:  follow this link to the Library's Amazon wish list http://amzn.com/w/1Y56ZOYRAQAZTand find a book there that you would like to donate.  Send it directly to me, and I will process it and place it in the library.  Be sure to visit your contribution to the library!
