heat Continuing the monthly showcase of local artists at the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center (621 E. 4th Street in Downtown Tulsa), Oklahomans for Equality (OkEq) will feature Tulsa Artist Patty S. Porter with an opening show and reception on Thursday, October 1st from 6-9pm and continuing throughout the month of October. More>>

Tulsa LGBT Families is hosting a parents happy hour on Tuesday, October 6 @ 5:30 pm at the White Lion Pub (6927 S. Canton, at 71st and Yale). We'll "SIP AND SHOW" so bring photos of the little one(s). Food and drink are on you, but dinners all run under $10! The White Lion Pub is an authentic Brittish pub with a huge variety of imported beers.

The Laramie Project 10 Years Later

Laramie Project Written by Moises Kaufman (Tectonic Theater Project), The Laramie Project - Ten Years Later investigates the long-term cultural impact of Matthew Shepard's murder and the collective memory of the Laramie community a decade later. This staged reading of Kaufman's newest work will forever change your perspectives on love, bias, and acceptance. more>>

Reconciling Religious and Sexual Identities.
Request for Participation in a Research Study  
Do you identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBT)? Have you ever been or are you currently involved in a conservative religious community? Has your sexual orientation or gender identity ever been in conflict with your religious beliefs and values? Have you tried successfully or unsuccessfully to resolve this conflict?   
If so, then I invite you to share your story and give voice to your experience through participation in this collaborative and confidential research study.
