| "First Thursday" Art Opening Thursday, September 3rd: 6-9pm

Continuing the monthly showcase of local artists at the Equality Center (621 E. 4th Street in Downtown Tulsa), Oklahomans for Equality (OkEq) will feature Tulsa Artist Christine Dean with an opening show and reception on Thursday, September 3rd from 6-9pm and continuing throughout the month of August.
Christine's primary focus is on canvas work and portraits but she also enjoys the challenge of murals and has commissions for businesses and private homes. With a degree in graphic design, she shares her experience and talent through private lessons and exhibits throughout the art community. This show centers on techniques and media that are unique to the artist with metallic paint and found objects. More>> |

Friend for A Friend is a support program for the pets of those living with HIV/AIDS. It provides pet food, Vet Care at a reduced price, & boarding for

| This year's concert is produced by Rebecca Ungerman, and all proceeds benefit HIV prevention and other health promotion programs. The evening, celebrated in the new H.A. Chapman Event Lodge at the Tulsa Zoo, highlights Tulsa's diverse musical talent. These acts come together for this annual "one time only" show and bring out their collective fans.
