Dear (Contact First Name),
This summer, California School Project team members have the unique opportunity to practice Gospel-centered ministry in settings outside of Los Angeles. Last week you read about Team Cambridge and the powerful influence and conversation that took place after sharing the Jesus Film to international students. This week we'd like to introduce you to the Peru Team.

As the Cambridge Trip comes to a close, the Peru Team transitions to an action-packed trip that will be both physically and spiritually challenging.
The purpose of this 2 week trip is to help local believers distribute newly translated Quechua New Testaments to people in remote mountain villages. The team will embark on a 7-day trek sharing the Gospel, personal testimonies & giving New Testaments to people in villages along the way.
The team will hike alongside a team of local believers for 7 days. They will start at 10,000 feet and go up from there, carrying all of their supplies, plus Bibles and evangelistic literature to distribute along the way. Beyond sharing the Gospel in testimonies and performance, the team hopes they will empower and enable their audience to read the Word for themselves on a daily basis. The villages they will visit are so remote that they have no consistent Christian influence.
"I am praying that God would use this trip in the lives of our students to further develop their love for the Word, for the lost, and for the Great Commission," writes team leader and CSP staff member, Mark Hopson.
Mark continued, "I am also praying that we would be a blessing to the local missionaries we'll be joining,"
As the Peru trip begins this week, please pray for safe travel, strong physical health, and spiritual courage and endurance while in Peru.
