Dear (Contact First Name),
"There are so many gods in China and all of them are about what you can get--if you want money, you pray to the money god. But Jesus is different because He is about what you can share."
This is what Two, a student from China, said after learning about Jesus through the Jesus Film screening in Cambridge on Wednesday night. In China, Two googled Jesus to learn about him because he didn't know any Christians. Now that he is studying English in Cambridge, he sees his time here as an opportunity to learn about Jesus as well.

Thousands of students come to Cambridge each year to study English, many of whom, like Two, have never heard the gospel. For the past 2 weeks, a team of 6 Biola students and 2 CSP staff are in Cambridge on a short-term mission trip to share the Good News with these students who've never heard.
The team spent a week passing out fliers for the Jesus Film event on Wednesday but had no idea how many would attend. Hoping for 10, they were blown away when 24 international students from Italy, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Japan, China, Germany, Nigeria and Taiwan packed into the room to watch a film about Jesus.

Not only did the students watch the two-hour movie, but most stayed another hour to ask questions. The team was able to explain to Muslim students why Jesus, being God, didn't save himself from dying and explain the concept of grace and mercy for the first time to a student from Japan.
"The fact that people stayed to talk for an hour after a two-hour movie in a language that wasn't theirs showed that the Holy Spirit was really working," shared Sean, the leader of the team from Biola.
The Jesus Film event was just one step in the students' journey towards following God, but the team was blessed to be a part of the process.
Pray for the students who have heard about Jesus for the first time--that they would stay connected with Christians in Cambridge and continue to seek after Truth.
