Story of the Week

Meet Ryan, New Staff

Greetings!

Meet Ryan, our newest staff member!

How did you first get involved with the California School Project?

1. I worked with CSP my senior year at La Serna High School and they helped me put on outreaches. I then took a student leader role and served as a Cluster Leader this past year in the Biola chapter.

When did you decide to join full-time staff?

2. The week leading up to the staff recruitment dinner I had really been fighting with God over going to Moody Bible Institute. I wanted to go but I kept feeling like that was wrong. Then I heard that there was a new staff position opening (and of course that the Titanic was sinking) and it was as if the Lord said "there you go, that's your path not Moody". From there I prayed and fasted and just really felt that confirmed.

What is your new position going to look like?

3. My new position is the Strategic Partnership Director. My job will mostly be to get us better connected to churches and youth pastors but also parents and other local ministries as we continue to grow. The goal is to provide a higher level of support for the students and our ministry. I am really excited to see the church step into the awesome things that their students are doing on their campuses. There are so many opportunities to having these partnerships and I cannot wait to see how the ministry grows as a result.

How can we be praying for you this summer?

4. This summer I will be embarking on support raising and would really appreciate prayer for the right people to come onto my team, and the funding to come sooner rather than later so that I can get to work soon!
