Story of the Week
Biola Celebration Night
Greetings! ,
Last Friday night at Southland Christian Church in Bell, leaders, mentors, high school students and parents gathered for Celebration Night to close off this year of CSP. It was a night of fellowship and desserts, but most of all, celebrating the testimonies of what God has done on these high school campuses and in the lives of the student leaders. Throughout the night, five high school students representing four different high schools got up to share the what was accomplished in their clubs this year. Some schools like Cal High celebrated a successful first year of working with CSP. The CSP campus mentors of each of the five schools were recognized for their hard work and contribution to the club's efforts. To conclude the night, long-time bible club advisor at Roosevelt High School, Sal Quezada, was honored and shared his experience working with CSP from the very beginning up until his retirement this year and the event closed with a song of worship.
