Greetings!
The 2012 Biola Chapter at the Spring Training Retreat
Last weekend was Biola's spring retreat, two days of vision, excitement, fellowship and outreach. New mentors were fully submerged in training and the weekend closed with the induction ceremony in which long-awaited new partnerships and school assignments were revealed. New mentor Emily Browning knew nothing of CSP, but found herself led into the ministry when God closed the door to other opportunities and brought her to the CSP Info Night.
"I just prayed, 'God, I ask that you open doors and slam them in my face,'" she said. "I just have a lot of peace about it and I feel like God is going to equip me and my partner for whatever he has in store."
Emily's new partner Robby is also a new mentor although he has been associated with CSP through close friendships for a few years. Giving up lacrosse in order to devote himself to his ministry at his assigned school, he is excited to get in contact with the high school leaders.
"I am just jazzed. I'm stoked to start. I feel like I want to do two schools, not just one," said Robby. "I'm really looking forward to this role I'm going to playing. Everything about this - I can't really think of anything else I'd rather be doing."

New mentor pair Emily Browning and Robby Roach pray for their school and students at the spring retreat

Pray for Emily, Robby, and the Spring 2012 mentors who are meeting with their High School student leaders for the first time this Saturday at CSP's annual GO conference. Pray that the Lord would bless their planning process as they dialogue about what each school will plan for outreach this Spring!
