Greetings!
"Everybody has an assignment when we are walking in God's will."
 | | Elizabeth |
This is the belief of Elizabeth, the president of the Christian club at Concord High School, who planned an outreach week for the first time last week.
Listen to her story...
Elizabeth's story threads back to her parents who are immigrants and were persecuted as Christians while in Egypt. "It's much easier living in America because there's freedom of religion," explains Elizabeth. But although she is thankful her parents raised her in a Christian home, Elizabeth drifted from the Lord until she was 13 years old and she had a vivid dream that changed her life. In her dream, Elizabeth experienced the crucifixion of Jesus first hand, viewing his sacrifice from the foot of the cross. Waking up with tears on her pillow, she realized she needed to live for God.

From that point on, Elizabeth started praying consistently, attended church again, and eventually found her way to the Christian Club at Concord HS.
Now, in her senior year, with the help of a CSP HomeTown trip, Elizabeth and the club hosted 3 rallies on campus and 3 days of after school witnessing all in one week. The week culminated in a final rally where15 students raised their hand to receive Christ for the first time!

Reflecting on the amazing week, Elizabeth concludes that it was a huge success and prays that God will continue to water the seeds they planted.
