7 am. The first day of school.
6 high school students, 1 HS graduate, 3 CSP mentors and 2 youth pastors met at Segerstrom High School's flag pole. They prayed as a group, then split into pairs and walked throughout the campus, praying over classrooms, common areas and even the football field.

club at Segerstrom,
wasn't motivated
to do any outreach at their school. In the spring, they held a rally with a Christian rapper where 35 students prayed to receive Christ. This event
opened the club members' eyes: They saw it as a taste of what God can do at their school. Now Refuge is
inspired to reach out to their campus and believes that God will do great things through them at Segerstrom. That's why they got up so early on the first day of school to pray.

Segerstrom's mentors: Alanna, Nathan & Betsy

Betsy, one of Segerstrom's campus mentors last year, was thrilled to be a part of the prayer walk. The new club leaders planned the whole event and invited their CSP mentors from last year to join them. After helping the club put on their first outreach last year, Betsy was so encouraged to see so many students from Segerstrom step up and trust God to change their school this year through Christ.
Keep Refuge in your prayers as they start this new school year of ministry.
