Cassie & Jose sharing at Newport

I saw "Lily" sitting on the beach, hugging her knees in front of her, gazing out into the ocean. When I saw her, I immediately knew that she needed to hear about Jesus. I gently sat down beside her and noticed that she was softly crying. I told her that I had come over to tell her how much God loved her. She listened while I told her that God wanted her to be adopted into His family.

 I shared the gospel with her, and she said she had heard the story of Jesus before but never really understood why He had to die until now. We talked for a while, and she was so hungry to hear of God's love for her! I asked her if she would like to make a decision to enter into a relationship with God, and she replied 'I really do.' I led her in a prayer of repentance for sin and acceptance of God. After we prayed, I gave her a gospel of John and she said she would read it right away. 

As soon as I prayed with Lily, I was so filled with joy, and I told her how excited I was for her! She was now born again! I am overwhelmed by the fact that God could use me to lead someone into His eternal Kingdom! What a blessing to be the one to introduce her to God!
