Last week the Christian club at El Modena high school in Orange hosted 3 days of outreach rallies on campus. The club had never done anything like it before.

On Wednesday, one of the students' worship leaders played Christian music in the quad, the main outside area where students hang out and eat lunch.

Thursday, the club brought in a Christian rapper who shared his testimony and a youth pastor who gave a clear gospel presentation to the 65 students in the room. The event was especially inspiring for the youth pastor who is now excited about the potential for reaching the high schools that other students in his youth group attend.
Friday, the club hosted their biggest event yet, bringing 3 BMX bikers to perform tricks in the quad and share their testimonies. The bikers gathered a crowd of around 250 students who listened attentively to what they had to say.
After the BMX-ers finished sharing their stories, a group of 6 guys came up to talk with them. The bikers shared more about God and gave the students each a Bible.
Before the rallies, the two Christian club leaders, both sophomores, were worried about outreach at their school since they had never done it before. They were nervous that students would leave when the speakers gave their testimonies, but the CSP mentors helped them see the good in being bold in getting the gospel message out even if not everyone wants to hear it.

Marissa, one of the CSP cluster leaders, attended the outreaches at El Modena. She explained, "Before this rally, I had only been to schools who had been involved outreach before. It was really neat to walk this club through putting on an outreach event for the first time. It is exciting to see the club's potential and think about how they can grow as we continue to mentor them next year."
