"So many people don't actually know who Jesus is."
This is what Gray, a Biola student from Indonesia, learned from his time in Bakersfield on a CSP Hometown trip in January.

The CSP team encouraged the Christian students at Bakersfield schools to reach out to their classmates through rallies and personal witnessing. Gray himself has only been a Christian for two years, but on this trip he was given the blessing of leading a high school student to Christ.
"I learned that the Lord was really at work in the lives of these high school students," Gray said.
Gray explained that in Indonesia he expected people not to know about Christ but figured that people in America would be different. He learned otherwise on the Bakersfield Hometown trip.
"I had no idea that work was to be done here in America too."

We are constantly surprised at the lack of knowledge about God on high school campuses. We don't have to take a mission trip to Indonesia to find people who need Christ. The need is here too!
Join us in praying for the lost students in high schools in California. This month the Christian clubs are hosting outreaches weeks at campuses in the LA area. Pray for boldness for the Christian students and openness for those who need Jesus.
