Greetings!
"I'm excited to be in CSP because I'm excited to see youth all over California open their eyes to what Christ has in store for them in their lives." Trent, a new campus mentor from APU, shares his thoughts on joining CSP.
The CSP Chapter at Azusa Pacific University may be new, but the 30 mentors there have big dreams for the gospel reaching high school students in the area. Recently, a group of 7 APU mentors met with 25 students at Walnut High School to train them in sharing the gospel with their friends. The mentors engaged the students in discussing fears, hesitations and myths associated with witnessing and shared their own experiences. They emphasized the conviction behind witnessing: how simple yet powerful the good news of Jesus is. | |

Kai, the assistant director of the APU team, explained, "It was very informative, engaging, effective, and to be honest....I had fun!" Besides training the high school students in personal witnessing, the APU team is coaching a handful of schools in hosting all-school gospel rallies before the end of the spring semester. Continue to keep both the college and high school students in your prayers.
Pray With Us
Here are some of the APU mentors' specific prayer requests. Join us in lifting them up! Pray.... - "that God will use me to lead and really lift up highschoolers"
- "that God would change the hearts of highschoolers"
- "that I will overcome my shyness when talking about God to others"
- "that I will learn how I can serve and disciple highschool students"
- "that He will change more of my heart to really love people"
- "that God will bring me to a place where I can solely depend on Him"
- "that I will be used big or small"
Thank you again for partnering with us in prayer!
