Greetings!
Tyler, the Christian club president at Bellflower High School, is not shy.

She ran down the sidewalk to ask a fellow student where she was going when she died. The student replied, "I'm going to heaven because I haven't broken any of the 10 Commandments." "What are the 10 Commandments?" asked Tyler. When the girl didn't have an answer, Tyler shared the good news of Jesus with her.
Campus mentor praying with students
|
This wasn't the only gospel conversation that happened last Friday afternoon. Around 50 Biola students left Biola's campus during the annual mission's conference for the mission fields of three local high schools. Meeting up with Christian club members at La Habra, Bellflower and La Mirada high schools, together the Biola and high school students shared their faith with over 75 students.
Campus mentor Nathan reflected, "This is what is so great about CSP. It's about relation-ships. We get to serve alongside the Christian club students." Brandon, the Christian Club president at La Habra High was overwhelmed: "In every corner, there are people hearing the gospel...the love of Christ was just overflowing here. So [share your faith]! We're called to do it and it is freaking awesome! Our God is greater." Friday was the first time Laura, a new campus mentor, had ever been witnessing. After entering the afternoon fearful, she left wondering,
"Why aren't Christians doing this more? It's just a conversation, and it's so easy."
