Story of the Week

Gospel explosion at

5 San Diego schools

  Greetings!

"It feels like we are just participating in this awesome week; it doesn't feel like we planned it all."

This was the response of Ryan, cluster leader, to the outreach week that he and and five other CSP mentors led in San Diego last month.

Ryan, Charis, Kris, Torrey, Brandon and Tobi equipped Christian clubs at

5 different schools in San Diego

to hold 12 outreach rallies and lots of personal witnessing at their public high schools. The rallies drew large crowds where students received gospel tracts and Bibles and heard speakers give gospel presentations.

The students were excited about the free Bibles they received; one girl even coordinated with a friend to read their Bibles that night after school.

Through the week of rallies and witnessing,
over a thousand people heard the gospel and well over 100 rededicated their lives or made first time commitments.

Torrey's excitement about the week was contagious:

"It's so amazing to see God's work; to see that He is increasing numbers, and that

He is affecting people with his gospel and using us somehow to do his work. It's all so amazing, and we are so incredibly stoked."

The CSP mentors were thrilled to be a part of a week where God was ultimately the planner.
