  Greetings!

Last Friday afternoon, 13 Mentors joined with 5 Bible Club students at El Rancho high school to spread the Gospel of Jesus. And they welcomed a new member to the family of God!

Charis, CSP Leader,

and Josh, the Club President, talked with a girl who had heard the gospel before, but didn't fully understand what it meant.

Charis explained that being a Christian is more than going to heaven - it's about having a relationship with God through the Holy Spirit and receiving direction every day as you grow with God. As she shared this, the student interrupted her: "Whoa! I didn't know about that!" Charis and Josh told her what it means to begin a relationship with Jesus, and the student said, "Sounds like something I really really want. Let's pray right now!"

After praying with her to begin a new life in Christ, Josh and Charis gave her a Bible. She plans to attend the Bible Club and find a local church.

Over all, 40 students heard with the Gospel, one student prayed to receive Jesus Christ.

Cluster Leader, Ollie gladly shared today's events.

"El Rancho is completely  ripe  for a huge harvest.  The vast majority of the students there had very little knowledge of who Jesus was or why he is so important, and we were able to plant brand new seeds in the hearts of over 40 students!"

Pray With Us
Students are hearing the gospel every week at El Rancho and many other high schools.
  • Pray that these gospel seeds bear fruit in the changed lives of students who really meet Jesus.
  • Pray for the high school students who are sharing Christ, that they will not grow weary in the good work.

Thank you again for partnering with us in prayer!
