Story of the Week
Lock and Load at
La  Habra High School

Michael Towson on the Cluster Leader Hiking Trip.
Greetings!

Michael has a fun job.

He is one of the leaders working to 'lock in' with campuses for this school year. He meets with Bible Club presidents and leadership teams to find out if they are passionate to tell their friends about Jesus, and if so, to formally begin a mentoring relationship with the club.

This time of year, Michael is going to lots of campuses and connecting with dozens of students, so it was a surprise yesterday when he said "I've never seen that before!"

That' was the leadership team at La Habra High School.

Instead of the usual 3 or 6 students, Campus Light's leadership team has 30.
Brandon, Campus Light President, shares about the 30. Click to see his video interview.
Although there is an 'executive team' of 5 members,  30 Officers have stepped up and expressed their commitment to lead the charge and bring the gospel to their campus this year. And they are starting this week.

Right now the club has 60 members, 30 of whom are leaders. Tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday, this club will distribute bibles and tracts at lunch time: an evangelistic outreach, and an invitation for believers to join the club, all rolled into one!

Pray for them, and look forward to hearing more as the Semester goes on.

Pray With Us

To Lock In with Many Schools:
Our team of leaders are working hard to formally begin mentoring relationships with 40 schools. Pray that God opens the doors and leads the team to students with passion to serve Him.

To Recruit Mentors:
The goal of reaching 40 schools requires 80 mentors. Pray that the team can recruit another 30-40 students who'll develop high schools student leaders to reach their schools for Christ.

Thank you again for partnering with us in prayer!
