Greetings!
Starting tomorrow, August 11th, the cluster leaders of the Biola Chapter will embark on 10 days of intensive training and prayer to prepare them for a year of ministry proclaiming the gospel at public high schools.
Here is an overview:
Wednesday, 8/11 - Opening Night: Prayer, vision casting, and worship.
Thurs-Sun, 8/12-15 - Backpacking in Sequoia Nat'l Forest at 9,000 ft.; Team building, seeking God, and strenuous physical activity.
Mon-Friday, 8/16-20 - Training and Witnessing
Training each morning, sharing the Good News of Jesus each afternoon, prayer and discussions each night.
Saturday, 8/21 - Wrap Up and Send Out
We'll debrief what we learned, and send them out to faithfully execute the busy Fall Semester
Needless to say, they need your prayers!
Please join us in asking God to provide for these leaders...
- A Spirit of Unity and Trust to get them through the tough times in ministry.
- Boldness and Passion for sharing the Good News of Jesus.
- A clear understanding of their job and calling this year
- Faithfulness to persevere and Love Jesus
