Story of the Week
April 16th, 2010
Greetings!

Over 50 students have accepted Christ in the last three weeks, and thousands all over California saw the gospel lived out and preached by their peers. It's been a great Easter season, to say the least!

Here's another story from this exciting Easter,
this time from Bellflower High.

Christ changes "Everything"

Thursday, April 1st, Bellflower High Bible club students organized a powerful rally during their lunch period, putting a strong ending on a full week of outreach.

The club had catchy tunes floating from their corner of the quad, bright yellow tee-shirts to distinguish themselves, and a large poster above their area to get students attention.
The rally kicked off with Bible trivia questions and prizes before the club intro
James speakingduced themselves and shared the purpose of their outreach week.

James, a CSP Mentor, came to the microphone and shared his testimony, explaining that he used to struggle with drugs and the party scene, but had an experience which changed his life when he found hope in Christ.

After his testimony, Club Eternal students performed the "Everything" Skit: a dramatic portrayal of the grip of sin and the power of Christ (performed with the song "Everything" by Lifehouse). The incredible skit hushed the crowd, and 150 students gathered to the edges of the performance space in curious awe. Many students who were not paying attention prior to the skit came and paid close attention to the performance.

Pray for us...

  • Bellflower High organized an amazing rally: attention grabbing, and Christ-centered. Thank the Lord for the students who organize and host these rallies!

  • Thousands of students have been exposed to the gospel in the last 2 weeks at dozens of campuses. Pray that all these gospel seeds grow, and that Christian students follow God as He leads them to follow-up with their friends.

Thanks for your prayers. We're glad to have your partnership in ministry through Prayer.

Sincerely,

the California School Project
