Greetings!
You've read lots of stories about God working on HS campuses in the Biola Chapter. That's because so far, everything we've done has been through the Biola Chapter and Biola Student volunteers.
But that's about to change.

CSP Biola Recruiting CSP Azusa
|
This past week, Biola students went to their arch-rival - Azusa Pacific
University - and recruited APU students to join CSP.
For two days last week, 10 CSP
Biola canvassed the main walkway at APU, sharing stories about high school ministry and
collecting names of interested students.
Approx. 125 APU students sign up to
receive more info, Also, we also talked with key administrators and one of the
football coaches - all of whom were very excited about this powerful ministry
opportunity for their university.
Tons of students and multiple faculty members thanked us
for being there to involve their student body in this project. A few APU
students even bought lunch for several members of our team.
|
Next Steps: How will they get involved?
|
See Some Outreach: April 5-9th, CSP mentors are
helping a few high schools in the APU area with campus outreach. Interested APU
students are invited to participate and watch, and to see the power of HS
students reaching their friends for Christ.
Lock In: Invite these students to a series of info
meetings & have 1 on 1s with students who seemed especially capable and
experienced. The goal is to establish a leadership team this semester so
we can have a full-fledged CSP team at APU by Fall 2010.

Pray that God provides... |
The right students to join the leadership team -
A student Athletic Director to mobilize APU
athletes to share the Gospel with high school sports teams.
A Home Town Director to mobilize APU students to
take this ministry back to their hometowns
The right student to start this as an official
club at APU & become the 1st CSP Chapter President at APU
The right faculty member to be our official faculty
advisor - required to be a club at APU
1 high school close to APU to lock in for an
outreach week before the semester ends so we can take these interested APU
students to see 1st hand what God is doing in our high schools
Thanks for your prayers. We're glad to have your partnership in ministry through Prayer. Sincerely,
the California School Project
