Greetings!
"I really want to see Jesus move!"
That's Christian, the president at Jordan HS in Long Beach.
Kris, the Campus Mentor at Jordan HS, is jazzed to work with
him, but knows the difficulties Christian faces. "He wants to see Jesus move,
but he's not sure how that looks tangibly."
And Christian isn't alone. Kris ranks the lack of
organization and concrete vision as the big need at most of the 6 campuses that
Kris and his team work with. Students are full of passion for the gospel, but they need direction
and planning to reach their campuses for Christ.

Four Schools Set Outreach Plans
|
So, 2 weeks ago at his church in Bellflower, Kris and his
team of mentors hosted Christian Club leaders for an evening to encourage,
plan, and pray together. 8 students came from clubs at 4 high schools:
Bellflower, Jordan, Warren, and Mayfair.

After eating, having some fun, and sharing their ideas and
their struggles for campus ministry, students from 4 Christian clubs went to
work with their mentors for individualized planning. They made ministry goals,
set dates, and created a ministry calendar for their campus. Then they came
back together to share their plans and pray together.
"It's important to have a time when they can come and
encourage one another. There are other schools that are doing the same thing,
and struggling in the same ways."
Coming into the evening with little direction, they left
with concrete plans. The club at Jordan HS plans for a outreach week on January
18th -22nd and monthly prayer meetings in the middle of
campus.
