Story of the Week
November 21st, 2009
Greetings!

This week, a story is from our newest campus: Warren HS, in Downey, CA.
Great Start at Warren HS: A Story

Richard

Richard wanted to reach new schools in Downey, CA.
Last year he was the campus mentor at Downey HS and helped the club with outreach rallies that shared Christ with hundreds. He tried to call around and find contact students at Warren HS, right down the street from Downey High, but no luck.

Katie wants to reach their school for Jesus. Katie, Bible Club President at Warren HS, heard about the ralliesat Downey HS, which is just down the street. She and the club leaders hoped that they could get CSP's help to put on their own rallies to reach the campus.

They met randomly at a worship service 4 weeks ago and knew they needed to work together. Richard and Gabby, his Campus Mentor partner, set up a meeting to talk with Katie about how CSP could help her club

Since then, Richard and Gabby met with Katie twice and helped her start to plan a week of outreach rallies for January. Katie wants have rallies concurrently with the club at Downey HS; between the two campuses, these clubs could give 7,500 students a chance to hear the gospel!

Pray with Us

  • Tonight (Saturday), all 6 clubs from Richard and Gabby's cluster are meeting for planning and encouragement. Pray for growth in each club and great outreaches planned for the upcoming weeks and months.

  • Richard, Gabby, and Katie are off to a great start at Warren High. Pray that 10 new campuses open up for us to send Campus Mentors.
Keep praying with us, and look for another story of campus outreach next week.

Sincerely,
