Greetings!
We're at at YMCA Campground in Big Bear, CA right now with 30 campus mentors learn about developing leaders to impact high schools for Christ. We're worshiping, having devotions, and casting vision for this Fall. And we're having lots of fun. Here's a look at what we're doing, and who's doing it.

High Ropes Course

Part of any sensible New Mentor Training is Fun. So we took advantage of the High Ropes course.
Kris, Chris, Richard, Nate, Ben, and Kolby are on the LA Team of campus mentors.

Ryan joined CSP a few weeks ago and came to the retreat this weekend to learn what it's all about. After the first night of training, he says:
"I'm really excited for the big picture of where CSP's going this year.
I'm excited for the Student Initiative part. I can't wait to get to the school and see what they want to do and help them out with that!"
Ryan and his partner will be Campus Mentors to the Christian students at Garfield HS in Los Angeles. |

- The team leaders are delivering many talks to train the new mentors in the basics of campus ministry. Pray that it sinks in and develops a team of mentors ready to impact campuses for Christ.
- We're spending a lot of time in scripture and prayer. Pray that the spiritual climate from this weekend continues in ministry that depends on God for all our success.
- Many mentors will be meeting their students for the first time this week. Pray that those meetings go well and set them (mentors and students) for a year of dynamic ministry.
