Greetings!
Last week, we told you what to expect this Fall in prayer requests, and introduced you to the student leaders making it all happen. This week, we're highlighting one of those leaders and one of those schools, right as they're starting a full year of reaching students for Christ.

Sarah, Club President, Pacifica HS

"Our entire goal
is to share the gospel
with as many people
as possible."
Sarah is a senior at Pacifica. She plans to make her final year on campus count. She and her leadership team are leading the Christian Club "Cornerstone" to have an outreach every month, starting in October, so that every student on campus has the opportunity to hear the gospel this year.
Sarah didn't always have a heart for outreach, but that changed after she told her story at a rally:
"It was an amazing response. After I shared what happened to me...I got so
many responses.... Just from speaking in the quad and telling my testimony."

Jerilyn, Cluster Leader and Mentor, CSP

"I'm excited about the team of leaders at Pacifica ... They're really focused on the follow-up aspect of outreach"
Jerilyn is the Campus Mentor at Pacifica HS and will help Sarah in all her outreach this year. She's a Biola Junior from Montana majoring in Biochemistry. She is also a co-cluster leader helping target 5 schools for outreach.
Jerilyn came to Biola to find opportunities to grow in Christ-centered community and she's getting both this year. As a cluster leader, she is a mentor to mentors and is part of "a team of people that are passionate about reaching high school campuses for
Christ."

Pray with Us
|
- We are taking our whole team to Big Bear next Friday for a training retreat. Pray for team bonding and safety, that they will all understand their mission on HS campuses, and that they hear God confirm their mission this year.
- Students at many schools have confirmed they want our help with outreach this year. Pray that the last 6 schools confirm this week.
- 27 Biola students have joined our team as campus mentors. Pray for wisdom in placing the new volunteers at schools where they'll be a good fit.
- Pray for strength for our Team Leaders, as they've been pushing hard and balancing school with ministry for 5 weeks already.
