let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
Look to the LORD and his strength;

Greetings!
      It has been an exceptionally great day of rallies!  We wish every day was this awesome.
Maria Carrillo High School
Over a hundred students came to Maria Carrillo's A speaker shares his testimony at Maria Carrillo.rally in the gym today.  The Christian Club had been advertizing all week for this event.   The speaker shared how he had been consumed by the three Gs--gold, girls, and glory-- before he accepted Christ.  Then the Lord found Him and he found what really matters in life.  Thank the Lord, that the students were listening.
Montgomery High School
Students at Montgomery consider a pastor's sobering testimony.Praise the Lord for today's uplifting rally at Montgomery HS!  A group of break-dancers attracted a crowd of over a hundred students to go to the rally in the gym.  Then, a local pastor shared his testimony of how God transformed his hard life filled with pain, numerous near death experiences, and emptiness.  He had tried hard to find fulfillment in success, but found true fulfillment in God   The gym was silent while he spoke as students listened attentively.  Lord, please use this humble story to shape the even the hardest clay.
CIA club members prepare to distribute pizza and materials.Santa Rosa High School
It was another encouraging day for the CIA club at Santa Rosa HS, with 400+ students at the rally!  Thank You, Lord, for your faithfulness.  Students answered a survey about the meaning of Easter to receive their pizza. They listened to a local pastor speak from the stage, sharing his testimony about how he received Christ at a school rally after some serious family hardships.   We can only leave the rest of the work to the Holy Spirit and His future work throughout the club.
Prayer Requests:
  • Pray that the Lord will bless the club members' discussions with students at Maria Carrillo as they invite students to the Follow Up Event.
  • Please pray that the Lord would raise spiritual questions in Montgomery students and that they would come to the follow-up Q & A club meeting on Friday.
  • Lord, please bless the last rally this week at Santa Rosa HS.  May the powerful testimony be impactful in the lives of many.
  • Students from all three schools have passed out thousands of flyers on their campus, inviting their peers to a huge follow-up event at Spring Hills Church Friday night, where the gospel will be presented.  Please for many students to show up with open hearts.

Thank the Lord for all the answered prayers!  May we truly rejoice in His glorious strength for spiritual victories that are beyond our power to achieve.

Sincerely,
