Greetings!
Thank you for praying for us here in Santa Rosa, CA, here's the fourth update of the week. It's been a great few days and we're looking forward to how God continues to work through the students and churches of Santa Rosa. Today all three schools had rallies! Check it out below!
Maria Carrillo High School
The club gives rootbeer floats and Bibles, telling about Friday's event. The Christian club passed out 700+ John 3:16 surveys to see the students' knowledge of the Bible. They did this over the past two days! That is almost half their school! In order to draw attention and promote their Thursday speaker, they gave away free root beer floats on Tuesday and free pizza on Wednesday. They had a table set up each day with free bibles and other Christian materials. The club president and leadership are very excited for tomorrow where they will have a local pastor sharing his testimony in the gym.
Montgomery High School
Bryan and Janelle introduced their club and announced the coming rallies!Montgomery had their first rally today! They encountered a few miscommunications with administration but havn't lost heart! They were not able to give away their root beer floats but they were still able to play awesome music at lunch and one of the club members got up and shared what "Dare you to Move" meant. The club also invited students to check out the rallies during the rest of the week. The club is excited for the rest of the week. Tomorrow a local youth pastor will share his story in the gym at lunch after break dancers perform.

The CIA club serves rootbeer floats before Billy gives his testimony.Santa Rosa High School
Santa Rosa had their first rally today on the quad. They surveyed 300 students with the John 3:16 surveys and they served 340 students root beer floats. A local youth pastor, Billy Andre, shared his testimoney and did an awesome job sharing how he found his identity in Christ. The gospel was shared with Santa Rosa High School today! The club is encouraged and so excited for the rest of the week. Tomorrow a local pastor will be giving his testimony on the quad and the club will be serving free pizza to draw the students!
Prayer Requests:
  • For students to have open ears and open minds to hear the speakers message at Maria Carrillo tomorrow at lunch in the gym.
  • For Administration at Montgomery to have favor on the Christian club and all they want to do to reach their campus for Christ. For the students to have open ears and open minds to hear the speakers message at lunch in the gym. Also for the club leadership to be united.
  • For the speaker sharing his testimony on the quad at Santa Rosa High, and for all the students to be open to the message of his story.
  • We are going after school to share Jesus with students alongside the Christian club. Please pray for open doors.
  • Strength for team! We need sleep :)
Look for more tomorrow. And please let us know what you're thinking and praying about this trip.
