Greetings!

Yesterday was a great day for outreach at Delhi. Alyssa's story was powerful and moving. Read on and praise God for how students are hearing the gospel at DHS.
Relationships: Club Leader shares her Testimony at Lunch

Alyssa speaking Tuesday at lunch, Alyssa shared her powerful testimony for the whole student body at Delhi HS. She told the story of her broken family and how God showed her love through people in the church and allowed her to forgive herself and those who had hurt her. Alyssa is a well-known student at DHS, but many people didn't know her story and listened.
During the second lunch, the whole quad was silent because people were paying such close attention, and several students were crying as they listened.

Praise God for Alyssa's story; it is touching people already.
Delhi Students Want Bibles
students getting bibles
On Monday, there wasn't much interest in the materials but it seems that Alyssa's story motivated many to learn more and get a Bible. After the rally on Tuesday, 8 or 9 students came over to the table to get Bibles and Christian books. Notably, the club members offered a Bible to a girl on Monday, but she refused it. Then after Alyssa's story, she came to the table and asked for a Bible

Students read the Bible

Alexa, a club member, watched a student read the Resurrection newspaper all through the class period after lunch, and another student read his new bible during class and the teacher had to ask him to stop because it was class time. The Club wasn't disrupting class, but the students were really interested in learning more about the Club's message.

Teachers want to see the Outreach

Most of the teachers stay in their classrooms during lunch. But after hearing students talking about Alyssa's testimony at lunch, many of the teachers are now interested in coming out to see the rallies for the rest of the week.

Look for more tomorrow. And please let us know what you're thinking and praying about this trip.
